The
male Canary is well known for its awesome ability to belt out a
beautiful song that fills a room! Canaries like all birds have
requirements that need to be met to ensure the birds overall health. In recent years I have had the honors of meeting some of the best, award winning canary breeders whom have contributed to my interest in breeding and rearing canaries. Unfortunately due to space restrictions in my bird room, I can not properly house as many pairs as I'd like. In the meantime, I am enjoying my small collection and reaping the rewards of successful breeding. Canaries breed usually in the first quarter of the year. Some breeders have controlled environments that modify the natural breeding cycle of the canary to different times of the year. I breed my canaries in the first quarter of each year.. |
